This is a rewrite of the first season of Hannibal exploring how the story could have unfolded if Hannibal was a non-toxic character capable of forming genuine bonds with other people even with his psychopathy. This is what the story could have been without Hannibal being toxic, manipulative, and abusive towards Will while still keeping the core traits of his character the same (he's still a psychopath, he's still a serial killer, he's still a cannibal).

Nahhh, It's probably just all the stress and exhaustion. Until one night..he wakes up sweating and that odd uncomfortable feeling has returned. Could it be something else? Nahhh, it's probably just another night terror. The next day, he ends up collapsing during his class lecture!! When he awakens he's told that he switched from a beta to an alpha!?! HOW?! WHY?! WHAT?! What will happen to Will's somewhat not so normal life?
Basically Hannibal, but with an omega verse and a bit changed up...
I got inspired by the idea of changing/switching secondary genders by this BL comic called "Romance, But Not Romantic", so full credit to them for the idea! Def recommend it.
