Summary
The android revolution failed, but Detroit is still reeling from the aftermath. Dr. Clara Hayes has always been fascinated by androids, especially deviants, and has devoted herself to researching and understanding them. One day, she is approached by Cyberlife, who stop her research and blackmail her into working for them instead, instructing her to find a solution to deviancy. To make sure she does her job properly, a special prototype is reactivated: the RK800, codenamed Connor, the android who killed the deviant leader and stopped the revolution. He's given the mission to watch her, protect her, gain her trust, and find out what she's hiding. Connor is intrigued by this enigmatic doctor, but she refuses to let him in.
Caught in a treacherous web where failure means death or worse, Clara and Connor navigate through the tangle of secrets, lies, and emotions, each doing their best to complete their missions. Will he be able to break through her wall and find out what she's hiding, or will she resist and cause him to fail? Will they find the answers in time, or will deviants be wholly eliminated? Only time will tell.

Summary
A damaged RK800 "Connor" model is repaired and repurposed as a bodyguard for a secretive private foundation in Chicago. Connor is tasked with protecting his human charge from outside dangers, but it may be the inner demons that prove the most dangerous. As he learns to navigate this world of humans and secrets, it is slowly turning him into something else.
As he changes, the android revolution in Detroit is close at hand. (Human/android romance story. Connor fluff all the time. Will eventually tie in with the events of the game.)
