Jeru's Top Fav Zelda Fics
Every top-quality Zelda or Linked Universe fic I've found since figuring out how to make a collection. These are the stories that are extremely well-written: it has only minor typo errors if any; it has a very well-written plotline for the length of the fic; and it catches up the reader and drags them into its view of how things have unfolded in Hyrule, leaving the reader with no regrets after the journey.
Whether or not the stories contained here are your cup of tea does not apply. Some stories are full-on angst; others are pure fluff. If they are well-written, they get invited to join this collection.
In short: these are the best stories I have found. The ones I will go back to again and again and again. Take a stroll through the viewing portals that are these stories, and have a great day!

"Come on. We're heading towards Zora's Domain."A gang-meets-Wild fic with an actual plot (I think). Featuring a Wild who's a tad more secretive about his journey.
Linked Universe belongs to Jojo, and I'm just a fan. :3

Summary
Urbosa was many things, but even she could not halt the sands of fate. When a dying Hylian mother entrusts her infant son to her, begging on her last breath to raise him as her own, her Gerudo pride could not possibly deny her final request. Link, despite being a male, would be raised Gerudo. And Urbosa would make sure her son would be the strongest warrior of them all.
(We hit Linked Universe eventually, but the first bit is definitely just BotW.)

Calamity Ganon was stronger than anyone had anticipated. Link and Zelda gave their lives to seal him away in the ruins of Hyrule Castle. But an unexpected complication with Mipha's Grace has given Link a corporeal ghost form. Now stuck amongst the living, with one foot in the realm of the dead, he must struggle to figure out what Hylia needs him to do. Luckily, the Champions of Old are there to help him as he strives to restore the kingdom.
The Second Book of this series will be Linked Universe. This story can be considered a Breath of the Wild fic.

Sky shouts and there’s hands on him, pulling him up, urging him along, but Legend points his mind toward the shield above them and keeps it there. He tries his best to mend the holes, to nudge his magic where it’s needed most; it’s cooing at him, worrying over him, over his heartbeat, over how much he’s already gone over the limit.
The vet mentally soothes it as he distantly feels his legs give out.

long oneshot. magic exhaustion at its finest (nearly kills your Vet). Legend pushes his magic WELL beyond its limits to get the Chain out of a rapidly failing situation, and it nearly snuffs out his magic -- and with it, his soul. Legend's pov as he fights enemies with the Chain then fistfights death with a high fever. very well done.IS: magic is alive and semi-sentient within folk, magic as part of the soul and its protector against death

That Which We Protect: finished.
long oneshot. Wild finds a 5-level dungeon in his era and tackles it for the puzzles, eventually becoming the dungeon master. Along the way he learns Lizal Common, befriends each sentient Mythos in the place (including his dungeon predecessor, a ghost lynel), defeating every Mythos but the ghost in combat without killing them. some advice from the Rito helps him claim mastery, which lets him defeat the Blights and Calamity. fortunately he'd taught his Mythos how to fight better (and insisted that if anyone was fighting they had to have a fairy on them) by the time the Chain showed up to try and claim him.
IS: wellsprings as a place where the ley lines in the land intersect, bubbling to the surface; very rare, very pure, they keep the land alive and destroying them is the quickest way to kill the land. (my bonus: at the very surface, they become the fairy fountains.) -

A Hero's Spirit: finished.
Breath of the Wild. Link does fighting Calamity Ganon but is stuck as a sometimes - tangible ghost. Always tangible to the dead, though. He ends up as Hyrule's leader and a year later finally tells people he's dead. LU in the next book!
