“Yes, thank you Dream,” Phil says, pulling out his sword, letting it hang loosely in his hand as Techno holds onto Tommy’s arm, tugging the teen even more, to the point where Tommy thinks he might bump into Techno. “However, as of now, Tommy is under the protection of the Antarctic Empire.”
Dream shakes his head, laughing. “You can’t do that.” And as he walks forward to get closer, Phil points his sword right at Dream’s face.
“Yes, we can.” Phil responds, and Dream takes a step back when the edge of Phil’s sword pokes against his mask.

Summary
After Tommy jumps into the water instead of ending his life, he runs. He runs to the only person he thinks might care, not because he likes him particularly, or because they have much in common. Sapnap's cool, and they get along fine. But maybe, it's because he might be the one person who understands about Dream.
I mean surely he cares about me, right? Right, Tommy?
(Tommy hasn't forgotten about that, by the way. It had seemed funny at the time, in Sapnap's desperate, clingy kind of way, the kind of thing he'd laugh about with Tubbo. Not anymore.)Series

Even behind the mask, Sam has the distinct impression that Dream is grinning at him. “A week and he was begging for my attention, even after I stole and burnt his armour, even after the beatings. He couldn’t stand me leaving him because I was the only one to show up, to pay him attention. It was hilarious.”
Sam is going to be sick.
Or, Sam decides to ask Dream about his intentions and ends up becoming a big brother to Tommy and Tubbo. All the while, Dream and George fight, Niki and Jack plan child murder and Ranboo is slowly getting adopted into the SBI.
