You see, Beomgyu’s plan was quite simple, really.

2. Edit it.
3. Practice in front of a mirror until too embarrassed to continue.
4. Ask Taehyun to hang out.
5. Taehyun says yes
6. Must mentally and emotionally prepare.
7. Meet up and recite what was practiced (as seen in step 3).
8. Rejection
9. Go home and cry over it
10. Try to convince Taehyun to keep their friendship the next day.But alas, Taehyun doesn't let it happen exactly as planned.

“Success?” Kai asked.
“Yes, sir,” Beomgyu replied, cognizant of the fact that both Lea and Bahiyyih were watching him carefully. He’d only interacted with them a handful of times each.
“And?”
“Um… He’s a pretty good lay, if that’s the intel you wanted,” Beomgyu said slowly.
There was a long, cold silence. Kai was frowning deeply, and Lea’s eyebrows were somewhere near her hairline. Bahiyyih had stopped twirling the pen and was now sitting there with her mouth open.
“A good lay?” Kai repeated.
“Yeah. That’s what you wanted me to do, right? When you said ‘I want that twink obliterated’…?”
