Bruce and Dick shared a long look. Perhaps to the others in the room, it was a fast, indecipherable look, but Damian caught the pull of Dick's mouth and the tightness to his father's jaw. However, it was Bruce that said "Red Hood and Red Robin."
Damian's eyes widened.
Grayson was as good as dead.
Or the one where Dick's brothers manage to royally piss off an ancient deity that sends them careening through memories he'd rather they didn't see.

Summary
Dick Grayson is back from Spyral, the timeline has been straightened out again, and everybody is falling back into a normal rhythm. Except Dick. He's stuck in the past with a Bruce that hit and forced him to stay dead. With no communication from Bruce, and everyone still not knowing the full scale of his death and spy gig, Dick is left alone to deal with the aftermath.
Until meddling little brothers send one Jason Todd in his direction, and Jay is bound and determined to figure out why his infallible older brother looks so lost.

That is stretch of time in which Dick waits to die. He feels the blood rushing to his ears pulse at a slower rate with each second, the burn in his lungs hotter than the scorch of seven days in a desert without water.
The art of waiting seems redundant here, but it is no matter, because time finally has Dick under his palm, with control over everything but his mind. All he can do is count.
