Summary
When Will was a young fawn, all he ever wanted was to grow up as proud and strong as his idol, the Prince of the Forest, Jack. And then one day he wandered off the path and into the strangest pool he'd ever seen. It was red as those sharp roses whose thorns Will had learned the hard way not to eat and smelled like the metal that he'd seen two-legs leave behind. It takes a few drinks to realize that it's blood. When he jumps back in shock, he ends up bumping into the biggest stag he's ever seen, bigger than Will's father, bigger than even the great Prince of the Forest, with antlers as tall as Will himself and feathers as black as night.
"Hello, little fawn," says the Ravenstag, "what have we here?"

Summary
Will once told Hannibal, "I don't find you very interesting" because it was true. Will's lived hundreds and hundreds of years, and he won't ever die thanks to a rather meddling Time Lord, so really, no matter how crazy Hannibal is, it can't be any worse than anything Will's ever seen. Hell, Will's been burned at the stake. Hannibal couldn't possibly do anything worse to him.
Or so he thought. Now Hannibal is literally dying in front of him and Will - Will remembers the second Mire kit, the one the Doctor had said he'd need "for a friend". Will had scoffed at that idea. Now he just fumbles to use it on Hannibal and prays to a God he no longer believes in.

Will is the son of House Graham, the respected and proud wardens of the north. Or, at least, he was, until King Cordell Dolarhyde decided to execute his family as traitors and Lord Frederick Chilton kidnapped him and tried to sell him to a Dothraki khal to fund an army to take back "his" throne. Too bad Khal Hannibal has no intention of paying for Will when he can just ... take him.

Summary
When Will is kidnapped by the goblins, the goblin King Mason takes a rather unhealthy interest in him, so Will does the natural thing and spits in his face. Mason then declares that any goblin may claim him. After a fierce but brief battle, only one goblin emerges victorious. The goblin offers him shelter, offers him food, and offers him magic.
“I want something,” Will tells him. “Your name. I’m not calling you master.”
The goblin laughs. With his head of antlers thrown back and his wings mantled and his clawed fingers tucked into his sleeves, he almost looks . . . human. “My name is Hannibal,” the goblin says eventually, when he’s finished laughing. “I think you’ll do very well here, Will.”

Summary
“Were you – are you – was that you volunteering to be a – a human blood bag?” Will stammers.
“A human gauge,” Hannibal corrects swiftly. “As to whether or not the action of biting me sends you into a feral frenzy. You need not draw much blood to know.”
When Hannibal finds out that Will is a vampire surviving off of cold blood bags for fear of going feral, he offers to act as a test subject to prove that fresh blood won't cause a feeding frenzy. Will refuses, of course, but Hannibal has more than one reason to convince Will to drink from him - and what Hannibal wants, Hannibal gets.

Summary
When Hannibal goes off of a hunt without telling Will, Will is so angry when he finds out that he doesn't speak to, touch, or listen to Hannibal for weeks, and there's nothing that drives an alpha crazier than when their mate ignores them. It gets to the point where Hannibal feels like Tantalus: trapped in place for the crime of murder, and with nourishment that is always just out of reach. Yet Hannibal has one thing Tantalus did not, and that is a rapidly approaching rut - one which Hannibal hopes to share with Will so that they can become mates.
If, of course, Will would actually talk to Hannibal again.

Summary
When Alana cajoles Will into taking an actual, real vacation, he decides to go to Florence and do touristy things, like eat good food and go on tours and be spontaneous. All good things, except for that fact that his spontaneous decision to go on a tour in the catacombs brings him face to face with very hungry vampires who think he is dinner.
“I believe you all were promised an experience of a lifetime,” says the definitely-not-a-statue man on the throne. “And we do plan to deliver. For the feast of a Council is, I’m told, quite the sight to behold. Sadly, none of us are vegetarians.”
