He was no stranger to the feeling. He had only been five when his parents died, the only two people his mind could grasp the existence of suddenly gone.
But then May and Ben had picked him up and brought him home with them, and life wasn’t perfect but it was better . He wasn’t alone anymore.
But Peter no longer had that safety net, nobody there to catch him now that he had fallen oh so far.
He had no one else. In the span of half an hour, Peter lost the last three people he truly cared about.
