Summary
After learning of Ei’s eternal battle with the Shogun, Sara finds herself agreeing with Guuji Yae for the first time. Ei finds a reason for her girlfriends to kiss.
“Ei,” Sara says to her god. “Why won’t you look at me?”
The Archon closes her eyes and sighs, “I didn’t want to burden you after all the hard work you’ve put in today-”
“You weren’t ever going to tell her,” Yae interjects with an eye roll.
“What happened?” Sara asks. She clasps Ei’s hands tighter, imploring her to look her in the eyes, “Please, tell me the truth.” She doesn’t want to be left in the dark again.
“I battled with the Shogun,” Ei admits.
Sara stares at her, “What?”
Or, learning that your girlfriend could have died battling herself for a thousand years is as good a reason as any to get drunk.

Summary
It is an unfortunate side effect of keeping her wings hidden for too long. She only lets them out during the heat of battle – which she has no real control over – and when she has to try and preen them. She hates that time of the month where her feathers start to become unkept; she tries her best to fic them, but it proves difficult without being able to properly see her wings. With no more war, she hasn’t been letting them out as much. It’s lead them to become bent and out of place.

Summary
Miko learns of Sara's Shogun Statue collection and may or may not be a little jealous.
“Did you know,” Miko begins slowly, rolling over on the couch so she can look at Ei upside down. “That Sara owns six Shogun statues?”
Ei sighs, “I knew that she owned some, but not the exact number. It doesn’t bother me. I actually think it’s kind of cute.”
“She owns six Shogun statues,” Miko repeats and sits up. “But not one piece of kitsune merchandise.”
“Oh,” Ei nods and turns back to her work. “You’re jealous. Good to know.”
Or, you can lead a horse to water but you can't make it buy "Pretty Please, Kitsune Guuji" merchandise.

Summary
A kitsune’s memory is perfect, which is all the better to tease their partner (or partners) with, especially when it comes to useless anniversaries. After 500 years apart from Ei, Miko knows they have many anniversaries to catch-up on, but decides to start slow.
“I just wanted to make sure that you remember,” Miko tuts and pats Ei’s cheek.
“How many anniversaries do we share?” Ei asks. Most of the dates are arbitrary, depending on if Miko deems them important or not.
“Fifty-seven,” Miko answers instantly. “And you know every single one, right?”
Ei has a feeling she’s going to have to dig out her calendar.
However, Miko's perfect memory has backfired on her when events become mixed up, leaving Sara stuck mediating.

Itto comes knocking on Tenshukaku's doors just because he heard a rumor that she didn't have any friends and he wanted to remedy that. Which is ridiculous, but he somehow roped the Shirasagi Himehimi and the Divine Priestess of the Watatsumi Island into his plans . . . or at least Shinobu did. So, Sara has no choice but to get dragged around Inazuma City by this buffoon.
But . . . she does have friends, right?

“What do you think?” Miko asks. Her steady hands on their shoulders ground them. “Did we get closer?”
“Yes,” Sara gasps, choking on another sob. In the mirror, they see themself smiling. They don’t really understand why they’re so happy.
“Do you see why I called you handsome?” Miko scratches the side of their head, nails gliding through the soft hair. “You really are, little bird.”

“I have discovered something quite useful,” Ei says.
“Oh, what is it?” Sara asks. Knowing Ei, it would probably be some staple of modern Inazuma that they already know about. Instead, however, Sara has to watch in horror as Ei sticks her own hand in between her breasts and produces a bottle of cold dango milk.
“I can use the Plane of Euthymia to store items other than my sword,” Ei explains far too casually as she removes the top from the bottle. “And, it remains in stasis, retaining the same temperature as when I put it in.”
Sara swallows. They have many questions.

“Miko,” Sara says as they approach her. “I am finished with my duties for now.”
“Oh good!” Miko tugs on their arm to pull them into the seat next to her. “I was just talking about you – and how you were going to pay for our lunch!”
Sara blinks and glances over at the girl. “Yours and . . . hers?”
