Summary
Aegon remembers dying - very painfully and with little dignity. When he awakes to the day his children are born, he is determined to stop the war for the throne and prevent his family from dying (and himself. He is very much invested in not dying again).
To do this, he realises he needs to:
1. Stop Lucerys from being a twat and actually show Aemond he is sorry for taking his eye.
2. Stop Aemond from, also, being a twat and actually stop his brother from killing his nephew (and also Aegon himself).Somewhere along the line he becomes a matchmaker, with a little help and guidance from his sister-wife.

Summary
Because Alicent is a twat and can’t leave well enough alone, Aegon finds himself in the wastelands of the realm. The slum of Westeros. A complete and utter shithole.
Winterfell.
He often doubted the intelligence of his sister but deciding that not only was Aegon a suitable envoy to the crown but also deciding that he was best suited to broker an alliance with the north because her precious first born son was a fanny when it came to the cold? He will never forgive her for it.
He will also never forgive Alicent for being Alicent.
He will also never forgive Cregan Stark for ruining his life and destroying his army, even though the man knows none of this. Stark’s incessant need to follow him around like a lost puppy and his frankly ridiculous habit of giving him gifts just makes him detest him even more.
Northerners. So fucking weird.
