Greetings, thank you all for expressing interest in my fics and for your further interest in my work.

I decided to come clean regarding my full intentions with this series...as I hinted previously this fic is only one of several I have planed..

My intention is to make a series that captures all quintessential time-frames one can have in a fandom..what I mean by this, is that in fandom we usually have three kinds of fics.

1. Those that enhance or talk about the original story, add something or develop it in some way..
2. Those that are about the immediate future or an age up of the story or an iteration of such, like example I would consider Beta Luz/Amity stories an iteration of an age up..
3. There are sometimes fics that talk about the far future of the fandom, but those are rare...(kids)

My series was designed from the start to have all three of these..

Now I have finished, the first of the main fics of this series, Owls & Butterflies, this fic serves as an anchor point for 'young' Luz/Amity/Mari/Adrien and the rest of type 1. and features the themes of growing up, teen drama and so on...

Notes:

You surely noticed fics starting with Owls & Butterflies: followed by an additional name, these fics are fics from that same time frame which expand the series and talk about different characters or situations exclusively.

These are the fics that are planned for the near future, you will find them bellow if they are already written or in proccess.

Owls & Butterflies: What to do when your GF gets too hot for you, by Amity
The direct continuation of the main fic, as I decided that I do not want to drag the main fic for an additional 100k words, nor I want to cut this short in any way, pretty much a fluff romance fic only with no fighting, featuring Amity and Luz making up and rebuilding, with Amity gay panics...a lot of them..as there is never quite enough of those.
I recommend everyone to smoothly transition to reading this after they are done with OB.

Owls & Butterflies: Building no illusions
This one is Gus/Matt.

Owls & Butterflies: Life in the city of love
Yet another continuation, but this one concentrates on Adrien and Marinette and their troubles, both with their parents, classmates, but also with their relationship.

Owls & Butterflies: Vee's vices
A story about Vee/Masha, where we will be talking mainly about Vee's dilemma of moving to Europe, which she very much does not want to do..as she would have to leave Masha behind, but she knows Camila wants to live with Luz and logically she is still an illegal immigrant in America which alone brings many dangers with it.

Owls & Butterflies: Building a new nest
This story concentrates on Eda, Rain, Lilith and more of the original citizens of the isles like Boscha and others..

Owls & Butterflies: Average day of a Guardian guard
A story of a aspiring Guardian recruit, bringing some more clarity to the Guardians, their dogma and beliefs in general.

Owls & Butterflies: My client is a goddess...or something..
Luz finds a therapist for everyone of her friends, said therapist..John, however needs to be introduced to all things magical to be truly of service..it will surely be a wild ride for poor old John.

Owls & Butterflies: 14 days of godly vacation
A unique opportunity present itself, Nicholas, after successfully and honorably fulfilling his duty, is given a two weeks of vacation to spend in the outside world, for the first time in centuries..
A non cannon story, that is mainly just for laughs(and fuck up shit).

Owls & Butterflies: The new Coven
An Episode 0 for the big continuation, story about the founding of the new Hero organization, lead by Luz..the only other fic apart from the main ones to be a crossover with pretty much all characters.

And possibly more..depends on what comes to my mind or what ideas you suggest.

When I am ready, we will transition to the part 2 of the series, which will have a totally different name...which I know but won't reveal just yet..

This fic will be taking place three years after the end of Owls & Butterflies.

The fic will be similar in length to the Owls & Butterflies or close to that.

In the same manner as with OB, after the fic itself is done or during it's run time, it's name will be used to house additional fics..those will concentrate on things usually found in type 2 fics which we might not get to in the fic 2 itself, advanced relationships...engagements, marriage, pregnancy, raising of small children (up to like 3 years) and more.

After that is done, we will go into part 3, the final part, this fic will be taking place further 15 years from the second fic and will feature both the original cast, but also all their kids.

As you can now see, this series is a project of absurd scale, but I am confident it is doable..as it was always my intention to do this and during the course of Owls & Butterflies I already started establishing characters or plots for use in fic 2 and 3.

However I am absolutely unable to write this series exclusively, planning fics which are this massive and have large number of dependencies on each other is both exhausting and time consuming..as when I start I am dedicated to write until the fic is done..

Which means there will be pauses in this series for unknown periods of time, until I have the drive to deep dive back into it, I strongly recommend you subscribing to the series to keep track of it's progress.

I will probably write one or two 'small' fics, which won't even have it's own series in the mean time, just a simple story of 100-200k words..about selected topic (Which is much simpler then a series)..maybe that Shades of two blues..the Chloe/Sabrina fic I had planed.., before fully delving into the big fic 2 of the Guardians and Order AU..
