Summary
The glances kept up as the three of them trudged toward the river, the blanket of washing in Twilight’s arms bundled up like a sack, and the bag of supplies slung over Warriors’ shoulder. Time noted with no small amount of concern that the wet stickiness around his wound hadn’t stopped yet, and if he turned his head too quick, he was finding himself to be a little dizzy.
Nothing major. But probably best sorted sooner than later.
Sooner, this time, Time promised himself.
Sooner came sooner than he expected when he slipped slightly on a wet rock and went down harder than he had any right to.

Summary
It had only been a few months. He was slow to trust, and his companions had probably picked up on that. He’d kept himself deliberately distanced. No one really knew him.
Maybe they weren’t coming.
The light began playing tricks on him, shadows bent and stretched across the cell, making shapes in his peripheries. Sweat from a fever rolled down Warriors’ temples, down his neck. He shivered as the cool air dimpled his skin.
Eventually the pain began to dull, and Warriors drifted.
The Yiga stopped coming.

Summary
Legend had an item for everything. Everything. And this served him well 99% of the time.
The other 1% was right fucking now - in a situation where his hands were tied, he couldn’t move, and some assholes were rifling through his bag and pulling items out at random like toys from a toybox.
Legend protested loudly, and the effect was absolutely ruined by the gag in his mouth.

Summary
What could he actually do to help his situation?
He was trapped.
A couple of tears dripped down his face at the thought, trailing into his hair and leaving an icy path in their wake.
He was trapped here. He couldn’t do anything to help himself, couldn’t even send up some kind of signal to let the others know where he was.
Not for the first time in his life, Four cursed his small stature. Sometimes it was a blessing when he needed to be stealthy, or fast, or fit through a small gap that other people would be too big for. Oftentimes, however, it disadvantaged him massively in fights - or in situations like this, where he would be fine if he was Twilight’s size.

Summary
It had been four weeks of non-stop travel now since their last stay in a town. That meant four weeks of camping in small clusters in the woods or sleeping on top of each other in small caves. Four weeks of no privacy, of constant unavoidable involvement in each other’s business.
Legend didn’t hate people. He knew this for a fact. He just didn’t appreciate undiluted, 24/7 exposure.
