Summary
Wednesday is not used to having friends. She doesn't know how to be a friend and she certainly doesn't know how to be the kind of friend Enid needs when she's upset. So when Enid comes in crying during Wednesday's precious writing time, she has no idea how to help her. Providing emotional support is way outside of her comfort zone, but for Enid's sake, she will try her best.

But she’s in over her head and nothing is turning out the way she hoped. It seems planning the perfect party might just be the death of her. Literally.

Summary
While laid up in the hospital, Wednesday asks Enid to get the first draft of her latest novel for editing so she can have something to do. Enid goes to get it but drops it and the pages scatter. While trying to put the pages back in order, Enid notices something very interesting about Viper's new sidekick "Eden", something that might've revealed more about how Wednesday feels than she would ever admit.
Part 3 in my "Worth the Effort" series, about Wednesday's secret quest to be worthy of Enid's love and friendship. Notes include summary of previous story.
