Summary
And Ghost hates how much König loved him.
It was goddamn obvious.
His green eyes followed him everywhere. He trailed behind him- like a terrifying, giant shadow. König wanted Ghost. He’s trying to be with Ghost. But that’s a terrifying thought. He didn’t feel deserving of König at all. Ghost didn’t feel deserving of anyone. Not Johnny, not him.
They hear the door open- Soap stumbles out, hands locked behind some pretty young guy on the way for a hookup… Ghost’s eyes are on Soap. It feels like his gut is being stabbed.
Any tension between König and Ghost evaporated like someone poured ice water on their limbs. König stares after Soap too- and barely registers the words coming out of his mouth. Must be the liquor. “I’ll… never be him, will I? I’m just a handy… body for you. A stand in. Easily disposable if he came around.” König asks, his voice heavy.
Ghost looks at him and almost feels sorry. “Yeah… Yeah. You’ll never be him.”
Or
König shows up and invades every part of Ghost’s life and shows him everything he didn’t know he was missing. Stupid König.Series

Summary
A small glimpse into König and Ghost’s first Christmas as a married couple. Including but not limited to; Klaus making a wreath and getting his sappy fingers everywhere, Simon rolling his eyes a lot, and a whole lot of small, joyous moments that both are still learning to let themselves enjoy.
Or-
Finally- he hears the familiar footsteps and opens his eyes to see Klaus with a tree- eyes crinkly from grinning under the mask.Simon has to stifle a laugh, feigning coughing.
“That one. That’s the one you want?” Simon asks his hand on his masked mouth.
Klaus nods eagerly and looks at the tree like it’s a treasured gift he received.
It’s a… well. It’s something.
If Simon could describe the tree it would be Charlie Brown-esque. It was a skinny thing, with sparse boughs and rough needles and barely up to their thighs. But Klaus loved it.

Summary
Keegan is quiet, steely, and cold when he meets them in the briefing room when they arrive on base. He nearly shied away from Soap’s boisterous personality and even Price’s booming voice, keeping his composure and calm in check. Keegan is renowned for his icy exterior and silent brutality, often quietly watching and striking hard before anyone even knows he’s there.
“Awa’ n bile your head- Not another mask! Got our hands full with those two eejit’s!” Soap exclaims- pointing at the balaclava Keegan is wearing.
König and Ghost, who were leaning on the back wall, observing, seemed intrigued by the new masked figure being added to the mix. Well, new to the others, not new for them.Or-
Keegan Russ had a run in with Ghost and König, now he can’t seem to get away from them. Fuck. Ghost and König simultaneously challenge him in what he considers happiness to look like, they make him vulnerable, and are undeniably loyal and adoring. And now, those two have changed everything for KeeganAnd he thought he should be angry about it. But he isn’t.

Summary
König is ruthless. He knows that. Everyone knows that. Ruthless, vicious, a mutt on a leash. People stare at him like he is a display in a circus; a brute animal locked behind a cage, mauling its prey to death. It was his normal.
He doesn’t expect any different treatment when he gets transferred to 141. He certainly doesn’t expect to meet someone who offers him the first sliver of normalcy he’s received in so long. Not just normalcy, but kindness too.
Ghost becomes a catalyst of his desperate yearning for normalcy, falling too quickly into a routine of awkward dependency, which Ghost calmly fuels but his kindness and patience with the brute, and over time, they grow closer.
But, a threat to König’s newfound happiness presents himself. A threat who absolutely hates him. But, if he thinks he can keep König away from Ghost- he has another thing coming.

Summary
(edited, mild plot change, & re-uploaded)
Ghost is a complicated man. He’s fully aware his current way of living is unusual and sometimes wonders what God he pissed off in a past life to be fucked over like this in his current one. He wants to think he does good, but he knows he isn’t a good man. He’s killed more than he’s saved- he’s cruel and brutal and vicious. And he’s surrounded by like-minded people- maybe that’s how he justifies it to himself.
He does the hard stuff, to try and protect others. Simple as that.
Romantically, he refused to be with anyone. Even though- someone always tried. Fucking Soap, always too… Much. Too happy, too fiery, too loving, and too gracious to him.
It fucks Ghost up too much to have someone treating him well- so he refuses to let Soap let closer, despite the Scotsman’s very obvious efforts.
Ghost was content to be a lonely, old bastard for as long as he had to live. He was a miserable person, deserving of a miserable life, is what he told himself. If Johnny McTavish couldn’t change his mind- then who the fuck would? At least that is what he told himself.
or-
Ghost is a sinner, right? There’s no good endings for someone like him.

Summary
Soap and Keegan are captured by KorTac. Their interrogator is someone eerily familiar to them.
Soap’s release is bargained for immediately by Ghost- but the same can’t be said for the marine, who is left with KorTac’s best interrogator for a week, who is determined to get Keegan to speak- by any cruel means necessary.
Or-
König simply circles the room, eyes curious as he lands on the two men tied to the chair. “Soap MacTavish. Sorry to see you here,”
“Aye- bet ya are,” Soap spits out. His face is bashed in, blood in his mouth. König reaches forward- rubbing his gloved thumb over the Scot’s mouth, smearing the blood on it.
The other one shrouded in a mask- König reaches forward- grabs the person's chin- tilting it back. He remembers him now. “Keegan Russ. Sparrow, isn’t it?”
Soap jumps against his restraints as König continues tilting Keegan’s chin up. Interesting. Throwing a glance at Soap, König tilts his head, running a thumb over the man’s masked lips. Keegan just glares at him. Soap looks like he wants to rip his arms off.
“Stop fuckin’ touchin’ him!” Soap finally shouts.
König already hit a nerve, he’s only been in the room for three minutes

Summary
(Mild edits)
Keegan P. Russ is a damn pain in Soap’s ass.For one simple, goddamn reason - the man denies himself and it drives Soap fucking insane. He isn’t sure why he feels so passionately about Keegan denying himself any potential pleasures life has to offer but he just does and it makes him mad.
or
Keegan is shit at taking care of himself. After coming back from a mission and forgetting to eat, Soap comes up with a plan to make sure he never forgets to take care of himself again, by any means necessary. (But mostly just takes care of Keegan himself. Damn Soap and his soft heart)

Summary
Keegan had to make a return to Charlotte to collect some paperwork from his former C.O., so he and Ghost decided to make a weekend of it by getting drunk and eating barbecue.
Klaus opted to stay at their home in France, even though Keegan grumbled about being separated. Klaus wasn’t eager to return to the States anytime soon, and Soap was going to visit to keep the giant company. During the trip, Simon has been sending pictures of Keegan to Klaus throughout their time together like a lovesick teenager — even though most of the photos are dumb things like Keegan asleep, somehow upside down, on the bed, or shoving his face full of bagel in the morning.
Tonight, Keegan is invited out to see Eloise and Lincoln to celebrate their engagement.
Keegan gets hit on, loses at darts, and then gets fucked into oblivion by Simon so not an entirely bad night all around.
