Summary
In the aftermath of Mondatta's assassination, Zenyatta makes do at Shambali without his master, and without his closest brother, Ramattra. But, willing or not, the student will become the master as a ninja (Genji) from a faraway land (Japan) comes to seek Zenyatta's wisdom.

Note: This also takes place after the currently unfinished work (sorry!) Master's Tools. To briefly summarize: By this point in the story, Zenyatta has trained Genji at Shambali, while also learning from him the importance of direct action. Zenyatta has abandoned pacifism and left the temple, and is now trying (as is Ramattra) to enter the world of international politics.

Summary
Five years after the events of Skillful Means (4 years after the epilogue), and Earth is wracked by conflicts between the super-globalist Union and a loose alliance of nationalist states and mega-corporations under the banner of the United Nations Security Council. So far, total war has been prevented, but only just.
Ramattra (who is a lesbian now) and Hana both captain units that claim the legacy of Overwatch, but serve opposite sides. Their long-awaited reunion is only a matter of time...
