Head Detective Carlton Lassiter got two problems on his hands – well, he had many others, but two pressing ones. One, he had to find a dead man with no solid leads. Two, SBPD psychic consultant Shawn Spencer had asked him out on a date and was being persistent about it, even though Carlton had a rule that he stuck to, no matter how he felt about Spencer – no dating psychics. O’Hara was helpful only on one front.
