Summary
Wei Wuxian was a heretic and a no-good in the eyes of the sects who previously exulted him and congratulated him on his success, to then be sentenced to death for having defended innocent people from the same sects.
Instead, someone who had no intention of standing still with his hands tied like Nie Minjue, now tired of that hypocrecy and driven by a feeling that even he doesn't understand well. Or perhaps that feeling is deeper and more tender than him can imagine?
He offers him a refuge, given the uncertainty he felt, he knew that: He would defend him, whatever the cost.

Summary

Summary
Wei Wuxian runs a small independent bookstore. He loves the tranquility, the smell of paper, and the regular customers who stop by every day to say hello. Nie Mingjue, on the other hand, works as an investigator. His days are taken up by corruption cases and, in recent months, a particularly high-profile investigation involving the Jin family.
After a wild night in Las Vegas, Nie Mingjue and Wei Wuxian find themselves married. Ten years have passed since that night and Wei Wuxian begins to wonder if they are still in love or have just gotten used to living together.
