Summary
Short story about Pyro having a good day, & making a drawing to show Engie and the team.
Pyro is practically buzzing with glee-- not exactly a rare sight, but certainly odd for this time of day and place. Normally, they only get this excited when a fire is in their nearby vicinity. Engineer is suddenly struck by a pang of panic. Surely he’d have smelled smoke if something had gone wrong outside, right?
“Err, what, uh, what brings you here son? I assume you’re not looking for a chitchat.”
Pyro shakes their head enthusiastically, instead holding up a crumpled sheet of paper, scribbles of all colours and shapes sprawling across the page.
“Mmmph mmph mmph! Hudda hudda!”Series

Summary
During a rare night of camaraderie among the mercs, Heavy notices Medic slipping into his workaholic habits—again. He takes it upon himself to coax Medic back into the present, all while grappling with his own insecurities in the face of a man he deeply admires.
In the wee hours of the morning, Heavy wakes up hungover, to the sound of an explosion in the medbay. He investigates, and finds Medic tinkering with a new medigun-- the Quick-Fix. While talking, Medic struggles with his ambition against his attachment to the team. Inevitably, the medigun leads to introspection from them both, and a confession long overdue.
| He almost lets a slight smile flit across his face, before he catches himself. His own behavior worries him, sometimes. He’s going soft, dull, all the things a Medic of his caliber should not be. For Gottes sake, his callousness and his intelligence are intrinsically linked. Before, he could do anything-- but now? Now, he’s less willing to conduct the painful experiments; less willing to break the boundaries of science. The caring has left him worse off, a shell of what he should be.

Summary
Will likely be a collection of loosely connected stories about the mercs in their day-to-day lives.
RED & BLU Scout are mortal enemies. So when they meet in Teufort's sole convenience store, shit hits the fan, and a fight breaks out. In the aftermath of the brawl, RED Spy & Heavy drop by to sort out the mess, forcing Spy to consider the ramifications of what truly separates BLU Scout from his son.
Demo & Soldier try to go to a gun show. With Demo being God's drunkest driver, Soldier having room temperature IQ, and both of them having scrupulous morals regarding other people's property (specifically, Sniper's van), it goes about as well as you would think.
| “W-Whot the bloody hell are you two doin’ in my van?” he splutters, palpable shock radiating off of him in waves. “Cyclops, are you driving?”
“No,” Demo replies sarcastically, “I’m drinkin’.” To prove his point, he takes another swig of scrumpy, still at the wheel.Series

Summary
It's 1982 in Boston, Massachusetts. Scout has four kids, the mercs have all gone their separate ways, and Spy?
Spy is dying.
It's going to be a slow death. He's not going out in a blaze of glory. He's wasting away, unless he can find a cure to an incurable illness.
And he plans to. But just in case he can't, he begins a journey to amend his previous wrongs. Even if he doesn't want to. Even if it means risking everything he likes about his life— his work, his wealth, and most importantly, the family he's begun to find with Scout & his kids.
A dual POV story about Spy trying to be a better father, Scout already being a really good dad, and their attempts to grapple with permanent mortality in the time left.
