When a stranger portal than usual brings the Chain to a snowy, ruined wasteland, they run into an odd blue fellow who both has a lot to lose and nothing at all. When the next portal violently yanks their new friend along for the ride, their new quest becomes figuring out how to get them home before Drifter’s mysterious illness makes that impossible.

This is mostly going to be Drifter-chain interactions, and will follow the HLD Canon more closely since there's more to work with. That said, HLD Canon is so vague that I'm mushing it between my fingers like play-dough. This baby can fit so much self-indulgent worldbuilding in it. I know there’s some actual lore being released with Hyper Light Breaker, but we’re not fucking with that. I’m using the full-world-map and the Blu from that game, but that’s it. I also have no idea about anything Solar Ash related, so I probably won’t use anything from there either. I’m a HLD ride or die.

Set after the Sunset arc (with minor changes), but LU Canon diverges from there.
