Description:

Orbiting Hearts is a Stray Kids alternate universe about love after impact: the kind built in hospital rooms, airport corridors, practice studios, hotel lobbies, court hearings, nursery light, and the quiet spaces between tours.

At the center is Alexandra Taylor-Bang — former combat medic, head of security, survivor, founder of Golden Stag — and the people who become her family as fame, trauma, desire, parenthood, and healing pull them into each other’s gravity.

This series follows intertwined relationships across 2022–2025: Alex, Chan, Hyunjin, Beth, Changbin, Elliot, Felix, Raven, Lee Know, Han, I.N, Seungmin, Soleil, and the widening circle around them.

It is messy, romantic, emotional, protective, sometimes devastating, often tender, and very much about learning that survival is only the beginning.

At its heart, Orbiting Hearts is about chosen family, second chances, complicated love, and the people who stay.

Notes:

Orbiting Hearts is a fictional alternate universe inspired by Stray Kids and built around original characters, fictionalized dynamics, and an expanded emotional canon. Nothing in this series is intended as a statement about the real people involved, their private lives, relationships, personalities, beliefs, or experiences.

Please mind the tags on each individual work. This universe contains mature themes including trauma recovery, assault aftermath, grief, pregnancy, IVF, complicated relationships, divorce/custody issues, medical trauma, cancer/relapse themes, public scrutiny, idol industry pressure, sexual content, polyamory, BDSM dynamics, and emotional healing after long-term survival mode.

Recommended Reading Order:

  1. Mix Tape: Start Line — The prequel to the Orbiting Hearts universe, laying the emotional groundwork before the main story begins.
  2. Waiting For Us — The beginning of Alex’s story with Stray Kids, her relationship with Chan, the Jakarta incident, recovery, Golden Stag’s beginnings, and the foundation of the larger found family.
  3. Doodle — Beth’s story: divorce, custody, motherhood, healing, and the slow, tender development of her relationship with Changbin.
  4. Deep End — Elliot and Felix’s story: friendship, grief, queer joy, secrecy, healing, and the terrifying softness of being truly seen.
  5. Hold My Hand — A side story set after Deep End, expanding the universe through another relationship arc and the quiet complications of love, trust, and being known.
  6. Hallucination — A darker emotional side story exploring desire, confusion, vulnerability, and the blurred edges between longing and self-protection.
  7. As We Are — A character-focused bridge between the side stories and the final arc, centered on acceptance, intimacy, and learning to be loved without performing for it.
  8. Stay With Me — The closing arc of the main universe, bringing the family into 2025 as love, illness, military service, parenthood, and reunion reshape everyone’s future.

This universe is large, messy, and deeply character-driven. Some stories focus on romance. Some focus on recovery. Some focus on family, work, friendship, sexuality, parenthood, or the strange ache of becoming safe after years of bracing for impact.

The main emotional thread of the series is simple: survival was never the end of the story.

It was the beginning.
