Summary
Perry Fletcher popped his back with a sigh, eyeing the last load of boxes to be wheeled up to his new apartment with relief. One last trip, then he would finally be moved in to his new place.
When he had first looked into moving to Danville six months ago, to be closer to his remaining family, this apartment building had had one of the worst ratings online. But when his bid on another place fell through, a second search revealed that the now-renamed DEI building had radically skyrocketed in ratings.
Reading through the edited reports, apparently the building's most reclusive resident – one Heinz Doofenshmirtz – had bought out the whole building and fired the old superintendent. He then hired the new manager, Norm, which caused the building to have a complete reversal in ratings from its occupants.

Summary
“I've forgotten what happens after that...” was what Heinz told his nemesis, but it wasn't really the truth.
Maybe one day, he reflected as he drove to his chiropractor's office, he'd tell Perry the real ending of the story. Not the version his father had told him, where Jekyll Doofenshmirtz was eaten by the monster. But the true ending, that his family had so desperately tried to cover up.

"But what then... oh." His voice became deadpan, his face, which had been so animated before, flattened into an unreadable mask. "You're a Hunter."
Perry nodded, nerves on edge.
"All you Hunters are the same! You all just see my kind as some kind of lust-driven animals that need to be put down! I do have feelings, y'know!" The incubus pouted, and Perry was beyond baffled at this point. This incubus couldn't be for real, could he?

At the sound of laughter, Perry looked up from his Advanced Astrophysics text and flinched. He lowered the brim of his fedora, hiding his eyes as he stared across the quad, trying to be discrete.
There he was. Heinz Doofenshmirtz. The hottest creature Perry'd ever seen.

"We decided on an Australian Christmas theme, in honor of your moving to Danville! Do you like it?" Phineas asked eagerly.
Perry held up his thumb and smiled. Looking over the plans again, he pointed at them, then at himself.
"You want to help us? That'd be awesome!" Phineas gushed, jumping up and hugging Perry, Ferb following shortly. Perry grinned.
'We'll win this year for certain. Nobody out-Christmas-es Perry the Platypus.'
