Jonathan Sims works as one of The Magnus University's librarians. It's a quiet job, one he loves, aside from having to deal with students who can't return their books on time. That is until one of the janitors brings in an old book, one that is supposed to be locked away, kept away from the public, one that is from a collection he's been dying to keep his hands on
Martin Blackwood is a janitor working for The Magnus University, doing his best to get back, keeping his head down and staying unnoticed by most of the students and staff. His life is a dull rotation of work, sleep, and more work, until he finally gets to talk to the handsome librarian. Until objects around him start to become covered, for some reason, with dirt, and the weight of his responsibilities start to bear down on him
