Summary
sect of galactic conservationists has been searching the Delta Quadrant for five years in search of the lost amphibious sentient development from sector 14. When five life signs turn up one day at one of their partner stations, they’re overjoyed and speedily liberate the five surviving species from the poachers on the USS Voyager
But there is a problem. The two mature species are imposters; they have none of the markers of species native to the planet. The three immature species are the only real members of the lost species aboard the ship. Undeterred, the conservationists are determined to rehabilitate them into their natural environment and release them back onto their planet. Nothing could go wrong. After all, all species, even captured children, want to go home.
Now it is up to Tom, Kathryn, and Chakotay to get their children back and convince these aliens that home is more than the planet you were born on.Series

Chakotay knew what she was thinking. He had seen this coming. This day, this anniversary, had been particularly awkward for her in the first few years as she faced the changes to her body and role as a mother. After a certain point however, the day became more about the children, drawing the majority of her focus. Up until this year, this day had simply been “the triplets’ birthday.”
This year was different, however; it was the first year none of the triplets were home. There was no one to focus on but herself and her worry for their safety.
