The rabbit hummed. He was never much for conversation, not during his check ups— and not while on the clock it seemed. Couldn't say you blamed him, it's not like his lunch break lasted forever. Neither did yours, you'd have to go right back to the check in counter as soon as you were done eating… the last time you decided to take your time an ambulance came, you'd hate to push the work off onto everyone else again.
"You mind if I snag some of this coffee you've made?" You asked as Ron turned back to his thermos of what you assumed was soup, "the machine at check in is a bit slow and someone just took the last cup,"
The thing was probably ancient now that you thought about it.
"Go on ahead, I'm not going to be able to drink all of it anyway… and Dr. Harlow prefers mint tea."

Akko enjoys the Sunday morning with her girlfriend Mari.
...Akko stands relaxed by the coffee maker in the kitchen on this beautiful morning and waits patiently for the hot brew to slowly flow into her cup. The blonde-haired schoolgirl is in no hurry at all and hums a cheerful song that’s currently playing on the radio. This wonderful tranquility really lifts her spirits, and she doesn’t even notice her beloved girlfriend slowly sneaking up behind her to give her a gentle hug.
“Hey, sweetheart, did I wake you up?” asked Akko.
“No, I missed you in bed,” whispered Mari softly.
“You really missed me?” asked the blonde mischievously.
“To be honest...my pillow,” said the student, blushing.
“Oh, you can be so sweet, my love,” said Akko with a grin.
“I see you’re making breakfast,” remarked Mari.
“Yeah, it’s my turn today, and I didn’t forget,” said Akko proudly.
“Then I’m sure you won’t mind if I take a little taste of you first.”
This unambiguous statement made the relaxed blonde chuckles.
The last night apparently wasn’t enough for her girlfriend, and she wants a tasty second helping...
