Especially now that peace was coating the kuuvahki that made Nod Krai the welcoming land it was. To Varka, Flins was a blindingly beautiful creature. That mischievous smile, the tired glint in those yellow eyes, the silken rise and fall of his voice, his soft purple hair and the curves of his body that remained well hidden under his thick coats. Everything about him was the definition of perfect to the grand master. Every passing day he was with the lightkeeper, the more infatuated he became. If there was one thing that Flins could change, it would be his entire life. He wanted to feel sane to live peacefully, yet the life of a Ratnik is a ruthless one. It was no gentle profession, and he grew numb to it. If there was something he could change, it would be him making sure he never existed in the first place. And he would make it hurt.
Living alone, he had grew distant with his fellow companions, eventually leading him to a life of solitude that he is unsure whether to love or hate it now. Of course, they visit. Sometimes. They allowed him to be peculiar, be in his own little world whilst the rest of them continued on living. He has seen things that he wished wouldn't wish upon anyone, he has done things that he has come to live with regret yet still shares a bed with.. He wants to rip out his heart and burn it.
But when a new arrival comes along that turns about to be the brother of a renowned popstar that everyone seems to be going head over heels for, he continued to show a cold indifference towards the news. A life of Ratnik did not involve such adversaries, but he'll soon come to terms that perhaps that there are people who genuinely care, even though they hurt you in the first place.
