Summary
Danny’s face is—neutral, unreadable. Despair grips Steve’s throat. “I—you want to end things.” He swallows. “You know, break up.”
“I want to break up?” Danny echoes.
“You—” Steve’s resolve crumbles, but he presses on anyway. Like he does, like he always does—god, he’s so tired of it. “You—of course you do. After—after what’s happened. What I’ve done.”
Nothing shows on Danny’s face. “What have you done?”
Or when his mother's body goes missing, Steve has to deal with the consequences of both the choices he made and those that were made for him.

Or in which there are unrequited (requited) feelings, a lot of confusion, Grace is a bad-ass, Danny has to figure himself out before he loses his chance forever, and no one is as incompetent at their jobs as canon would like us to believe.

Summary
Steve is a Sentinel and Danny is his Guide though he has been keeping it a secret from him for a year. Due to an injury Steve learns the truth and is happy as all get out. Problem is others want Danny for themselves and will do whatever is needed to capture him. Now they have to take care of business before THEY can get down to business. Lots of AU and OOC plus swearing.
This is my first Hawaii 5-0 story hope people like it.
