Part three is going to take some time to upload. It is quite long and will require two parts, I think. Much like I was uploading after editing Book 2, I will work to supply regular chapters to keep the story fresh.
Book 3 begins three months after Book 2 ends.
I have already outlined the follow up to this trilogy, which is turning out to be at least another trilogy in itself. Fun times ahead!

“Han, what made you come back? Really?” Luke finally asked, the words tumbling out of his mouth, the medal Princess Leia had placed around his neck clinking slightly against his tunic.
Han shuffled in place, his own medal hitting the buttons of his ruffled vest as the two humans sat on a crate in one of the hangers, Chewbacca hovering behind them. Both humans were at least a little drunk in the Wookiee’s’ opinion, fleshy cheeks flushed pink.
“Part of it was like I said, couldn’t let you take all the credit. Big part was because you reminded me of myself kid, when I was younger.” Chewbacca saw Han look at him as he finished his sentence. “Biggest part was that Chewie insisted we go back.”
Or, three cannon compliant moments where Chewbacca’s memories of the past are mentioned as a motivator for his actions, two cannon compliant memories/flashbacks, a non cannon compliant but self indulgent reunion, and some Force ghost shenanigans.
