    Arthur stared at him. Merlin stared back, taking in the ragged clothes, the blood, the faint beginnings of a beard that darkened his chin. Arthur’s hair was longer than it had been before, and he held himself stiffly, a tell-tale warning sign of broken ribs. Still, he was alive.

    Merlin and Arthur must work together to come up with a way to save Camelot without having to sacrifice anyone. Their quest leads them into unfamiliar territory in more ways than one.
