“Okay, so you want me to see something in here, huh?”
He looked around, it was small sitting room with a love seat and chase lounge, a low coffee table, and a drinks cart in the corner.
“…I’m not sure what you want me to see here. The photos?” He pointed at the gallery of framed photos on the wall. “There someone in them you want me to see?”
The room dimmed minutely, like clouds passing across the sun – Eddie got the impression the house was sighing in annoyance – and then a curtain behind the chase lounge fluttered, almost pointing, to the space behind the couch.

“You know, I gotta give it to them, this is a pretty confusing maze,” Eddie said, looking around their cornstalk walls and down the cornstalk aisle. “I was so sure that that last turn would take us out.”
“Yeah? You keeping track of how many turns we’ve made?” Steve smiled, bemused by how serious Eddie was taking a family fun corn maze.
“No, I’ve been- Okay, it’s gonna sound crazy, but I’ve been creating a map in my head using the scarecrows as landmarks. You know, since they’re all different? I just don’t know how I’ve gotten turned around. ‘Cause this one” – he pointed at a scarecrow towering over them, its drooping burlap sack face adorned by a wide brimmed farmer’s hat – “This one was by the entrance when we first walked in."

After Steve's Haunted House ran them off in Part 1, Steve and Eddie made plans to go to a local farm's fall fest. Things do not go as smoothly or romantically as Steve had hoped. Steve just hopes it doesn't end in human sacrifice - No way would Eddie want to go out with him again after that!

Run away get away leave now go go go go, his soul screamed at him, the shadows of the house stretched outward, dark and unending as a long stretch of highway at midnight, surrounding him, pressing on him – doing it’s very best to tell Eddie in no uncertain terms he wasn’t welcome there.
Eddie nodded, breathing slow and deep to relax his legs and back that had snapped tight, poised to run. He slowly held up his hands, palms facing out in front of him, and slowly blinked up at the towering house, its sharp edges barely discernible from the shadows it’d cloaked them in.
“It’s alright,” he said soft and slow. “I won’t come any closer. I’ll go back to my car right now. You’re safe.”

Steve and Robin buy a house that turns out to be haunted. They've got everything; the chills, the dread, the creepy birds. But now it'll bring Steve the one thing he doesn't have in his life: Love - in the form of professional haunted house therapist, Eddie.
