Summary
A Fortnite fanfiction based on the lore of Chapter 4, Season 2. The story follows Mizuki, Empress of the River Guard, and her side of the story after part of Oninoshima, her home island, is rifted to the Battle Royale island. She must solve mysteries, forge alliances, and unite with other syndicates in order to protect Mega City from its new environment, while also healing her relationship with her recently estranged brother, Stray. Will Mizuki and the River Guard be able to survive on the island with emerging threats looming before them?
NOTE: While this work does incorporate many elements from the original Fortnite story, note that some elements or plot events may be improvised or stray (ha!) from the preestablished lore. When plot events from the Fortnite story are mentioned or added, however, they will be listed in the chapter's notes.

When a rebellious and ambitious young warrior’s (stray) home is brought into a new land. He is met with new faces, new challenges and new relationships all while trying to uncover a mystery that quickly gets out of hand.
Pretty much a rewrite of Chapter 4 Season 2's story but with some unique twists and turns.
This is my first attempt at approaching something like this so please give me your thoughts if you have any!
