Escaping. On the sea. It makes sense logically but the illogical part of Tom can’t help but think of how unfathomably deep, how pressingly dark and miles down the bottom is. If Tom is a man, the sea is a great, impartial god with no love for him or for anything else. It eats what it finds and Tom’s determined to be nowhere near its hunger for as long as he can manage. The thin wood bottom of a boat would not be enough if it really wanted him. If the roiling waves rose up, crashed down and swallowed.
“Escape? From what?”
“I don’t know. What are you running from, Tom?”

Summary
Many of you know about the man that appeared out of nowhere in the middle of Seoul talking about being from five hundred years in the past. The security camera footage was on the news and many people managed to get phone footage of it.
As an update, he managed to find me – that’s his Cook Yeon, the woman he was looking for – and we’re living together now. I’m the same Yeon Ji-yeong who won the prestigious French cooking competition La Pôele d’Or and then went into a coma on the plane home. I’m writing his answers for him – he’s not used to computers yet! He’s only been here a month and a half, so a lot of things are still new. He’s happy to answer most questions, as long as they are polite. I’ll read him the questions and write his reply as he says it.

She said this the way she said most things - directly, without embellishment, and as though the facts spoke sufficiently for themselves. Tom had nodded and thought: sisters. Yes. He had older sisters that he was very fond of. He found himself quite confused at the undertone of dread Mary seemed to have as she anticipated the visit. “I understand sisters very well, my dear!”
It turned out, he did not understand the Bennets.

“Brother,” Thor says, again, his voice drenched in worry, “you do not look well.”
“I’m fine, Thor,” Loki grits out. “Just tired.”
His migraine chooses that moment to grow even worse, the excruciating pound picking up like the raucous beat of a thousand drums. A pained whimper slips out before he can stop it.
“Oh, Loki.” The bed dips as Thor eases down onto it. A large, warm hand comes to rest gently upon Loki’s forehead, and he lacks the will to shove it off. “Banner was right, you are ill. Why did you not tell me?”
Loki cracks open an eye. “Evidently, I h-have people who will do that for me.”
