Summary
This story starts in year 4 of Olivia and Fitz's marriage as they are trying to have their first child. The relationship *is* the story. What happens well after the meet-cute and the honeymoon stage? When does the past impact the present? This story explores Olitz's present and past on the road to parenthood. I'm interested in who these people are if we took the characters out of the show's political crucible, but still set it in Washington, DC. Olivia is still a fixer, and Fitz is a university president. The story of how they fell in love is explored in flashbacks. Each episode title is a song title. There is plenty of sex along the way, but it is always contextualized.
