Summary
Rhae turned as he was in the middle of the second time singing it, hugging her sister a bit closer. Then already his voice weak and raspy, but he could see Daella still awake so he continued singing it a third time. In the darkness of the room, only one of the candles still lit, his sisters weren't visible very well, but Daeron didn't need to see them. He felt like shit, but the fact that they weren't in King's Landing with the Great Spring Sickness… he was relieved about it. He thought of his dead grandfather as he sang, watching Daella nuzzle her nose against her sister's neck, and another tear broke free of his eyes, flowing down over his cheek and disappearing into his coat.

Summary
Not that he would ever allow anyone to see his phone, but his own lockscreen was also a photo from that day. Not the group photo of the siblings, he didn’t care for them that much, but rather a selfie Daeron had taken on a whim. Both of them were freshly wet from the ocean water and Aerion was sure he had sand in his eyes but it was the last good photo they had together.

Summary
Daeron dreams of a man. That, in of itself, is not a particularly unusual thing. He dreams of many a man - dead, dying, or burning.
This dream is different. It doesn't smell like ash, but of freshly turned dirt, of tree sap - of things being grown and thriving again. So when he sees the very same man - an omega - stepping into the inn he's sequestered himself in, he's a little ashamed to admit that he forgot himself - just a little.
“Is he rut-mad?” He heard the omega demand the barmaid, as if she’d know. “Gods, man, stop trying to-“
Daeron realized with a start that he was squirming, attempting to scent the omega close, to mark him as his own. He couldn’t help it, the urge to possess, to take, to own awakening deep in his blood.

A hint of an emotion flashed across the boy’s face, akin to hurt. Daeron frowned, the indignation in his eyes and expression smoothing out into something sad and pained. “Do you really think that ill of me, father?"
“What?”
"I said, do you really think that of me? A wanton omega who throws themselves at any random alpha who gives them attention? Who whores around every chance they get?”
Maekar scowled. “Do not put words in my mouth, boy. I never said that.”
“I know you don’t think much of me, but… is it so entirely impossible for you to pretend that you love me? Even just a little?” Daeron whispered, and when he looked back at Maekar, his eyes were glassy with unshed tears.

And at evenfall he told himself that tonight there would be no dreams; no solid weight of a body against his, no honeyed curls falling across his shoulders as a fine-featured frustration too fair for his own good pressed into him, face in the crook of his neck. Surely tonight Dunk won’t take that face in his hands, run a finger along the cleft of his chin, down his royal neck, kiss the eyelids sheltering those tortured eyes that Dunk couldn’t unsee, couldn’t forget as much as he entreated.
No appeal of may I? or like this? or please? No lissome thighs resting atop Dunk’s larger ones. No tell-tale sound of skin against skin. No intimacies that Dunk had never experienced anywhere outside of reveries, and his own voice, broken, Daeron, Daeron, Daeron.
Not tonight, surely not tonight. There must be reprieve from such a haunting.

Or, the one where that sot of a prince can sense other people's dreams, and this is truly inconvenient for a certain hedge knight.
