Summary
Suga was still holding the human. Whom he had kissed. On land. While other humans closed in around them. And Suga still had his *tail* out of the water. Using his arms to drag himself through the sand, Suga let the tides pull him the rest of the way back into the safety of the ocean.
Just in time too it seemed, as another human man- this one with long brown hair, pulled up with some rope, approached the human Suga saved. More shouts from here alerted even more humans to the area, and Suga knew better than to stay and watch. He had collected enough data for now. Probably. Maybe. Perhaps later he would need more.
For now, he needed to tell Oikawa about *everything* that just happened. Well, most of what happened at least. Surely Oikawa didn’t need to know about the kiss.

Today was a very special day. It marked the anniversary of the Defeat of the Demon King, a decade previous, as well as the 16th birthday of Kageyama Tobio. Tobio knew that today was a special day because his guardian witch Suga had blown up the kitchen before the robins sang good morning. Tobio had acquired his baking prowess from at least one of his guardians.
“Surprise Tobio!” the Good Witch Suga looked manic as he blew a gust of wind through the kitchen, the smoke billowing out through the windows. “Your um… your birthday cake is almost ready!”
