Shmi stands and nearly tumbles over herself.
“That’s it?” She asks, straightening her dress and bag.
The Jedi sniffs.
“That’s it,” they says. “You can—“
“I thought it would be more difficult to persuade you,” Shmi says.
“Ma’am,” the Jedi sighs, “We are an equal opportunity employer. Through the door, please.”(Shmi Skywalker is assaulted by too-real visions of her grandson in pain in the future. She gets a job at the Jedi Temple in order to prevent that from happening and soon after finds herself on a warship.)

He thrashes within his own mind, desperate to open his eyes and actually be a part of the world around him and terrified that he’s doomed to remain trapped in the dark forever. When the thoughts just begin to overwhelm him the sound of approaching footsteps distracts Finn. The feeling of sunshine precedes Poe’s voice.

“Saber burn,” Canderous says. It's not the only one Van has. A few on their shins and thighs. Several on their arms. Not unlike marks made when sparring, but Canderous doesn't think the Jedi would train with sabers capable of burning or severing limbs.
“It's too old to be a saber burn,” Van says. “It was on me when I woke up, well before I ever touched a lightsaber.”
“It's too broad to be from a blaster,” Canderous says. The tip of his forefinger traces the edges. “Look, see? Blaster burns are tapered at the end.” He shifts, displaying a mark on his ribs. It's faded, but the teardrop shaped patch of skin is still evident.

After re-emerging as Emblems in a single Bracelet, Claude figures that he, Edelgard and Dimitri will need to learn to get along better. He'd anticipated 'getting along better' would mean learning joint strategies, or compromising on who would participate in what battles and when.
He had not anticipated that sharing an Emblem Bracelet would also mean sharing their memories and their tragedies, and that makes things a lot more difficult.
