Wizards that have been born, raised, or otherwise alive in the Age of Man know to keep a low profile when traveling. A "low profile" typically didn't involve wearing a black cloak and a horned skull and hovering low enough to the ground that any mortal could tell you weren't actually walking if they squinted.
"Excuse me, wizard. Would you happen to know where to get these ingredients?"

Summary
In order to stop Nari from being kidnapped by Bellroc and Skrael, Douxie recklessly swaps bodies with the Arcane Order's leader, putting them out of commission and forcing Skrael to make a hasty retreat.
The good news is, not only do the Guardians have Nari but they've also gained an edge over the malevolent wizards, denting their plan to unlock the Genesis Seals. On the flip side, Douxie doesn't want to risk Bellroc's escape so now he's living in their body until further notice, which means the girlfriend he hasn't seen in over a year is snubbing him.
And no one knows where Skrael is. -
