Deep claw marks slash diagonally across his chest, the blood running in every direction across his pale skin. Euijoo had always known Nicholas was popular among women. Famous, even. The legendary Wizard of the Century, young and powerful and devastatingly handsome. It had never truly bothered him before. Why would it? He'd been a fire demon, watching from the hearth.
But now, standing here, seeing the way these women looked at Nicholas with open desire and admiration, the way they touched his arm, his shoulder, his hand like they had every right to— his heart twisted painfully.

The guy drums his pink nails against the counter like he’s bored. “Hm, no thanks." He then stops tapping them, staring at Euijoo. “Wait. Do you get like… rewarded as an employee for that? The more sign-ups you have?”
Euijoo tilts his head, confused. “Yeah, but—“
“Okay, I can sign up,” he cuts Euijoo off. “Do you need my email? Phone number?”
Euijoo swallows. “Um, both would work.”

Euijoo is the cute bookstore employee to blame for Nicholas's recent expensive habit of buying books. Luckily, his job at Thread Theory in the same shopping mall pays enough to fund his stupid decisions.

The train carved smoothly through the German countryside. Snow blankets covered everything, starting from rooftops, pine trees, empty fields stretching endlessly under a pale winter sky.
The moment they stepped on the platform, a name was loudly called, taking their attention.
“Ohyul!” Maki’s voice cut through the winter air. Beside him closesly stood Harua with a beamed smile.
Ohyul squealed when he saw the couple. “Uncle Maki! Uncle Rua!”
In where Nicholas, Euijoo and Ohyul spent their winter breaks snowboardng with Maki and Harua in Germany.
