He's just supposed to be helping Red and his friend for this one thing. Only here because their interests align and Red's not willing to place the lives of children over his morals.
Course that all flies out the window when Red ends up getting himself - and his friend Elektra - turned into kids. And not just any kind of kids. Oh no. That would be too easy.
Red and Elektra would have to be child soldiers, who somehow choose to trust Frank. Because of course nothing in Frank's life is simple anymore.

Marvel: Daredevil x Punisher
(Frank & De-Aged Elektra & Matt)((actually shed some tears at the end [very rare for me]. absolutely ADORABLE. the characterization was on-point, especially for the kids. not to mention the plot was well thought out [enough to not be “oh magical woo hoo”] I liked the small ties to religion & the role it played in Matt & Frank’s talk at the end. Plus how the kids’ training w/ stick influenced their actions. and how Frank remained their parental figure, even as adults 🥹 NOT TO MENTION, the role Frank’s kids played, especially at the beginning and the end just🥹💔😭❤️🩹. this was phenomenal. also doesnt have some of the awkwardness/etc most de-aging fics have 🥹👍. in terms of what collection to bookmark this in, idk. it def has the emotional & execution & interactions i’d want, but not OVERLY amazing other stuff. 🤔 ehh i make my own rules. 🫵👍🫶🌟🌟🌟🌟- .5))

Summary
Just because they fought together, doesn't mean Luke knows that much about Matthew Murdock, recently 'resurrected' blind ninja (okay they rescued him from a bunch of nuns but seriously, the man should've died).
So when he, somehow, gets roped into helping Matt train Danny to learn to pay attention to his surroundings well... it might be a chance to get to know the guy. A bit.
Plus he gets to throw things at Danny. Always a plus.

Summary
When what should have been a straight forward mission in Hell's Kitchen goes pear shaped due to lack of communication, teaching his teammates sign language seems like a logical step to Clint. Communication when their comms are down - great plan! And including the local vigilante, who's been working closely with them on this, is a real no-brainer.
Until it turns out said vigilante is an asshole that thinks sign language is beneath him, judging by the way he's stubbornly refusing to learn it.
(Conversely - Matt's trying, he really is but damn it, those two signs are exactly the same... what do you mean they mean completely different things?!)

Summary
It's increasingly becoming a world where the unbelievable happens every day. The Avengers team includes a defrosted World War Two solider, a giant green rage monster and a man who might be a God; and they battle aliens and magic on a regular basis. It's not too far fetched to believe the Devil walks Hell's Kitchen.
Matt, on the other hand, hasn't realised exactly why his new battle buddies seem terrified of him. It's not like they've even heard the rumors about him being the Devil... right?
