Summary
JJ and Emily share a past that refuses to stay buried. When Emily goes undercover with Ian Doyle, the risk isn’t just her life — it’s her heart. Why would a media liaison be dragged into a war, and why would Emily agree to vanish into Doyle’s world for so long? The answer is love. But behind the lies and the danger, another question lingers: what game is Strauss really playing?

This came about after a games night, where one of the games was to come up with a story using the quote “Perhaps, today is a good day to die.” and this is where it ended up going after I ran with it a 'little' bit.

Summary
Kara Zor-El was sent to Earth to protect her baby cousin. She landed, but never found him. Instead the name of a stranger was indelibly written in her arm since her landing. She never paid much attention to that name; survival was much more important to accomplish, with no one to take care of her anymore.
Lena’s life was forever changed when her soulmate mark made her appearance at the age of twelve, when not only one name showed up, but two. It didn’t get any better when more kept appearing and appearing. Exceedingly alarming, she was sure one of the names wasn’t even human.
And then they met each other.

Summary
"That's a very pretty speech," Garcia says, and then she goes quiet, and Victoria watches her face do something she has seen before. The face of someone who has just decided they have a card and is deciding whether to play it. "Is that what this is about? Teaching?"
"What else would—"
"Or is it something else." Garcia's eyes move, briefly, to Victoria—just a flick of attention, barely two seconds yet entirely intentional—and back to McKay.
Victoria's stomach drops.
