Something came whizzing down the kitchen chimney as he spoke and caught him sharply on the back of the head. The next moment, thirty or forty letters came pelting out of the fireplace like bullets.
“That does it!” he snapped, his beady little eyes focused solely on Harry, “It’s you that they want. And they won’t stop coming after us until you’re… gone”.
Harry didn't like the sound of that.
“But Vernon, we can’t! You heard what that- that despicable old man told us!”
“Don’t worry, pet” Vernon said, his nasty grin triumphant, “I’ll leave him someplace so far away that those freaks will never trace him back to us. There’s an institute up north, for these- these hopeless cases and whatnot - St Brutus's Secure Centre for Boys. I’ll leave him there, and then we can get back to our nice, normal life”.Or, the one where Harry doesn't attend Hogwarts in first year but finds his way to the wizarding world anyway, and this changes everything.

Summary
During a snowy evening in mid-December, 1979, Albus Dumbledore goes to an interview with a prospective Divinations Professor, not thinking much of it. Needless to say, that meeting changes everything.
Sybil Trelawney, plagued with dreams of the future, manages, with her sister's help, to spell her visions into seven books. Determine to change what she has seen, she gathers the original Order of the Phoenix, and a few others, to read these books aloud over the next several days, cooped up in the Hog's Head bar. It goes about how you would expect.

Summary
When Harry willingly sacrificed himself for the sake of the Wizarding World as was expected of him, he never imagined for a second he'd wake up in a strange chamber surrounded by people both dead and alive.
He certainly never expected Mother Magic herself to show up. Or that she'd be disappointed with his sacrifice.
He also didn't expect her to decide that almost his entire life needed to be redone... And the way she described that like it was a reasonable suggestion was unnerving at best. Terrifying at worst.

Summary
End of 6th Year, in an AU where Dumbledore has Harry under compulsions. Harry finds himself breaking free from those binds and accidentally gives Tom Riddle back his sanity. Tom of course takes the next logical step in this chain of events: forcing the Boy-Who-Lived into a marriage contract with him so he can obtain the Slytherin Lordship (definitely not because he likes the boy, Nagini please stop saying that).
Follow Harry and friends (though mostly Harry) as the Chosen One navigates negotiations, falls in love with the new Tom, and schemes his way past Dumbledore and into power.
