    Had it just been the whips like normal, Keigo could have dealt with it. If it had just been a punishment for being to slow, Keigo could have gone to the league. Instead, he was here in his apartment alone and broken and terrified. All because his handler had to break his leg to prove a point. She had to rip out the still regrowing feathers before they had grown enough to be removed without blood and pain. She had to whip his back until it was all bloodied and destroyed underneath his suit. She had to threaten to cut off his tongue and blame it on villains if it ever happened again. All because Keigo had stupidly, stupidly, asked if he was allowed to date someone.

    Hawks is hurt, Dabi comes to his rescue, and Hawks realised that he can’t run away from his feelings anymore.
