“Okay, I order number 6 to kiss number 1” Mermista commanded as a smirk formed on her lips
“Mermista !?” Glimmer exclaimed
“Uugh What? I’m just adding something different,”
“Someone called their ex to say something embarrassing, and someone posted an embarrassing pic on social media you know? This one is just between the nine of us right here right now, not like everyone in the campus will know.” Mermista soft-pedaling the command. “Look, NOT doing this dare would make it unfair for those who went through all the trouble during the other rounds.”
“Now who got number 1 and 6?”Adora looked at her stick and sighed but Mermista was right, it would be unfair to the others who did their part so she raised her stick slowly, with number 1 written on it. She scanned the room to see who got number 6. Her eyes widened with surprise, as she met that pair of beautiful eyes with two different colors, also raising her stick with number 6 written on it.
Out of all the people inside the room, she was about to receive a kiss from someone she had the least contact with, Catra.

“Wha— No I— It’s not a date date! Catra is my bestfriend so it’s more like … like hanging out or something.” Adora explained while crossing her arms.
“Okay Adora, enjoy ‘hanging out’ …” doing a quotation mark with her hands “with your crush” Adora glared at her “Oops, I mean childhood bestfriend.” Glimmer grinned

Fuck.
That was the only thing that came to mind when the fourth punch struck Adora’s jaw. Really, things could not have gone more wrong as she bids goodbye to her favorite pair of glasses, now cracked into two somewhere on the ground. He starts to roughly lift her by the collar.
She spits out the blood forming in her mouth straight to the man’s face. “My wife gave me this shirt!”
Adora musters up all her energy to headbutt the man-oh shit that really looked less painful in movies. Fortunately, the impact was hard enough for him to release her as they both hold their heads. She tries her best to stop her surroundings from spinning. Sweat drips down the side of her face, or at least she thought, but then the metallic scent hits her nostrils. As she pulls herself to a standing position, she moves her coat, feeling the swiss knife in her back pocket as she glances at the pale skinny man holding an even skinnier kid at her right.

“Yeah, well, we didn’t qualify for any scholarships, so that’s out of the question,” Catra starts off, bitter. “We don’t have any disabilities that are medically certifiable, nor are we related to anyone who does. We’re not related to anyone at all, really, but that doesn’t seem to matter.”
“It sucks,” Adora agrees offhandedly, blood rushing in her ears. “Go on.”
“I don’t know. Parents? I’ve kinda just skimmed the rest of the page. All the focus on family was annoying.”
Adora shrugs, trying to look and sound nonchalant. “Married couples, too.”

“Catraaa!” a voice squeals, and Catra feels a strong pair of arms constrict around her torso, binding Catra’s arms to her sides. The sword clatters out of Catra’s grasp and onto the floor.
Catra stiffens, helpless and utterly dumbstruck as Adora’s face presses against hers, cheek-to-cheek. “Catra!” Adora squeals again, nuzzling ever-closer. “I missed you so, so, so much!”
(In other words...an AU for the episode "White Out" where Catra is the one to deal with a disk-drunk, overly-affectionate Adora)
