When Jazz dragged Danny to Bludhaven for the summer, he fully expected to get re-murdered, swarmed by ghosts, or any number of paranormal shenanigans. What he didn't expect was sunny days of relaxation and boredom. Yes, he was being forced to catch up on studying, but having a real vacation from ghost chaos was nice. But Danny's life is never simple, and soon enough he is swept up in BatFam villain shenanigans which should Not. Be. His. Problem. Seriously, the bats need to sort out their crazy, he just wanted to enjoy his summer. Now he's stuck as a bird, stuck away from Jazz, and stuck with the Bats. Who aren't paying attention to him. Summary
It was customary in any royal family to have two sons. One to rule, one to replace. This was something Talia knew well, had been mentioned to her, thrummed in her blood like Lazarus water, sickly, nauseating, invasive. This was something that, in the secrecy of her own heart, she hoped to never fulfill.
It left her with something bitter when she saw two sets of eyes staring up at her, electric green and frozen blue.
