Rocky’s impatient, translated sigh was loud. His echolocation could tell where I was and how long it was taking my part of the installation. He was also moving all over the place, which wasn’t unusual, but at the moment, it felt like too much.
My lips thinned and I yanked my arm harder than was necessary. “Ow. Yes, okay! I’m getting there, just…oh, no-“
Seriously? I looked away for two seconds and somehow, my traitorous wrist had actually begun rotating it back the other way.
“I was almost…oh c’mon! No, Rocky- do not ask, just -just hold your darn horses!”
