Summary
For as long as any of them could remember, their poor Canadian brother had always been sickened with some kind of illness; a cold, head pain or even just a stomach ache.
Matthew thought he was maybe being punished by god or bad luck. Arthur didn’t care, Francis thinks the problem was from his spouse’s food and neglectful parenting, and Alfred wants to find a cure.
Alfred keeps having weird dreams, with a goal to try and find a cure for Matthew's "minor heart issue," he journeys with a British Pirate and French soldier — who resembled one of the wooden dolls Arthur had made for him — both who strangely looked a lot like his older brothers. With each night he gets closer and closer to helping Matthew before waking up to the harsh realities of the real world
