Harry liked to think that if he were a man-eating tiger, not even Vernon would want anything to do with him because, after all, Vernon was a man and that is what man-eating tigers ate.
From that day on, instead of wishing that his parents would appear magically at his front door and whisk him away, Harry wished instead that he could become a tiger. No one would hurt him then. They would be far too scared and Harry would finally, finally be safe.

Summary
After the harrowing events of the Third Task of the Triwizard Tournament Harry Potter is struggling with going back to his abusive and neglectful family, especially when he begins to wake screaming from nightmares. After begging Dumbledore and getting nowhere he decides on the train back to London that if no-one else is going to look after him then he would just have to do it himself.
He dons his Invisibility Cloak and hides. He wouldn't tell anyone not even his friends. Not until he got away.
First Stop: Gringotts.Only he hadn't expected what that spur of the moment decision would unravel.

Obi-wan has a multitude of problems at the moment; in no particular order, the still-healing wounds of Zygerria, his padawan's reactions to the same, the galaxy-wide war, and his horribly inappropriate crush on his commander.
Frankly, this is a terrible time for him to be stuck in an extremely small shuttle with Cody and Alpha-17, cutting a...strategic retreat from a negotiation gone entirely too kinetic.
The shooting is a typical Tangusday. Whatever drug had been put in his wine at the banquet, however...

It was supposed to be fun. It was supposed to be like a short vacation before joining his inevitable eternity. However, Harry Potter made a couple massive miscalculations in this plan. First was trusting that a primordial being actually knew what was going on and was in charge. Second was thinking that his over-developed 'saving people thing' wouldn't kick in and claim an entire messed up vigilante family and, by extension, an entire bloody town in the process. Well, at least he'd been training for this his entire life it seemed. What was a vigilante anyway but Harry Potter in tights? Nope, definitely dropping the tights, that's weird.

The rumble of thunder that was a chuckle echoed in Link's mind. But he held firm in his stance as he stared the God down.
VERY BRAVE OF YOU, TO FACE THE UNKNOWN AND SEE WHAT YOU CAN GET AWAY WITH. Link frowned as he crossed his arms, feeling self-conscious even in his half-dressed state. But he stood firm, not wanting to bend so easily to the God.
A VERY BOLD THING INDEED. LET US SEE WHERE IT GOES. He then pushed away from the tree to stand right in Link's face, eyes softening just a hint as a warm and calloused hand held his face. He couldn't help but gasp at the prick of The Deity’s thumbnail pressing against his lip, bringing home the realization that this was no dream .
