He thought about how at this point, the roof of his house would be coated white. His mailbox, too. His front yard.
Rick thought about the spoon in his fridge, right next to the milk.
“Why… Carl, why…why is there a spoon in the fridge?” He’d held it up in front of him, and Carl ran forward, grabbed it from his hand, and said, “To snow! So it snows, and I don’t have to go to school.”
It had snowed. A lot, actually.
Carl would put a spoon in the fridge every time he wanted it to snow. It worked. Every time.
