"Deku! Deku! Is it true that you are dating your fellow Hero Uravity?"
It is true that he had been preparing for this question ever since the moment that idea had hit him but right now? His mind was as blank as an unused white board.
"Uhhh, ah...you see" he stuttered, trying to collect his words, "Well, Uravity and I, we have been comrades since our days in UA...so, I deeply respect and admire her. Not only as a fellow Hero but also as a friend and partner."
As soon as he paused, the entire scene burst into chaos.
"Is that a yes or no?"
"Oh my god, does that mean they are high school sweethearts?"
"HIGH SCHOOL SWEETHEARTS?!!"

On the scenes they were a couple oh-so-in-love. But away from the prying eyes, they are just two best friends trying to navigate through the path of life - together.
A small mishap in front of the media turns Izuku and Ochako's world upside down. But the new proximity eventually forces them to re-evaluate their own enigmatic feelings and what they mean to each other.

At twenty-eight, Izuku Midoriya has worked his way into a career he’s proud of and enjoys the life he’s made for himself. He could do without the constant pain, though, and the grey spreading through his hair has him wondering whether the year he spent using One For All has left him aging faster than he should.
It’s been years since Ochaco Uraraka last saw him in person, and returning to Musutafu gives her a chance to see how much he’s changed. He’s more confident, more willing to speak his mind, and occasionally more difficult than she remembers. She likes spending time with him, even when they disagree, and it doesn’t take long to remember why she wanted to be with him in the first place. Whether they can make it work this time is something they’ll have to figure out together.

Three years later following graduation, he works as an emergency dispatcher, still saving people from the other end of a phone. He ignores Class A’s calls, avoids Ochaco, and does everything he can to make sure nobody looks too closely at the life he built after Deku.
Then Uravity comes over the line.
