Hermione may not know know them, but she already knew who they were.
Alicent Hightower was always in the library and Rhaenyra Targaryen seemed to trail after her just as often.
They were the only ones of Luna’s roommates and classmates that had always been nice to her (for a change), and that earned them Ginny’s fierce loyalty.
They were the first ones Ginny wanted to invite when they brought more people to Dumbledore’s Army, and both girls accepted the invitation on the spot.
So she knew who they were. She liked them, even.
Hermione wished she had said all of that to them. She wished she had said any of that to them.
She wished she had said nothing.
"... Your father is a Death Eater" was what she said instead.
Looking directly into Alicent way too innocent brown eyes.

The hogwarts AU nobady asked for (not even me) where Hermione has a little "Lost and Delirious" experience were she learns there is a lot more to the wizard world then she got to see while always engrossed with all the Voldemort related drama trough her entire teenager years.

Summary
Violet’s fourth year ends, Voldemort is resurrected, and she is sent back to the Dursleys, where she really starts to notice how much of a hold Dumbledore has over her life. When she arrives to Grimmauld Place, Violet isn’t quite as forgiving as everyone expected her to be. She ends up spending a lot of time holed up in a cozy study that she finds out once belonged to Sirius’ dad, Orion Black. When a portrait in the room starts talking to Violet she ends up discovering more about herself and the magical world than she had in the past four years. Due to a magical mishap Violet ends up being sent back in time to the 1940’s where she is known as a Peverell and has to deal with all that comes along with that, as well as becoming a classmate of both a young Orion Black and a young Tom Riddle.
