Cor TRIED to avoid curses. He really did. Noctis had very thoroughly warned him and everyone aware of them to stay far, far away from any interactions with noroi. Cor intended to follow that instruction. He truly had. Unfortunately for Cor, the curses of Insomnia had other plans. Before he knew it he was knee deep in it. He's not sure whether it's better or worse that Noctis keeps wandering his way back home just to instruct him on how to exorcise curses.
